Round the World Trip on Offer at Auckland University

Attending university on Tuesday (6 March 2012) could provide you with the ticket to working around the World.

A Round the World prize is part of Reckitt Benckiser’s presence at the Careers Fair. University of Auckland students who visit the Reckitt Benckiser stand can enter to win a ‘Round the World’ ticket, as well as other prizes including Save the Children gifts such as mosquito nets, food packages and water purification kits that will go straight to children in need.

Global companies such as Reckitt Benckiser will be on hand to talk about future employment opportunities at the Commerce Careers Day being held on campus at the Owen G. Glenn Building on Level 0.

As well as providing career advice to students who are keen on working with Reckitt Benckiser in the wider consumer health and FMCG sector, University of Auckland students have the chance to take part in a competition to win a ticket around the World.

“At Reckitt Benckiser we strive to employ the best people and are looking for the next generation. We’re an organisation that encourages our employees to grow within the business and, very often, that means working in a number of our overseas offices – you could start your career in New Zealand and end up working in the UK, France and even Argentina,” says Adonis Souloglou, General Manager.

“We are the organisation behind power brands such as Durex, Dettol, Strepsils and Clearasil, and our teams have the opportunity to work on global campaigns. We provide the ideal platform for enthusiastic brand, sales and marketing graduates to build impressive skills and fast track international careers.”

The winner of Auckland University Round the World ticket will have the chance to blog about their trip, and upload images and videos.

University of Auckland students can also enter the competition at by 30th March 2012. Students who do not attend the University of Auckland and who are keen to learn more about opportunities with Reckitt Benckiser can also find details at
