On Monday 12 March, ACC launched its first Idea Nation Awards Campaign.

ACC are looking for the best idea for preventing falls in and around the home for the working age population- they are offering $10,000 in prizes to the best ideas in four categories:
• Secondary schools and students,
• Tertiary staff and students,

A fall might sound trivial but every year hundreds of thousands of New Zealanders from all walks of life are hurt by a fall in their own home. It impacts their families, incomes and our economy. The best ideas could be trialled and if successful rolled out nationwide. There will be opportunities for those who submit successful ideas to stay involved, so there could be ongoing business benefits for those whose ideas make it through.
